Welcome
The purpose of the Chemistry Conference of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is to provide an opportunity for new colleagues, as well as for graduating undergraduate students, to get to know and prepare themselves appropriately for the next steps of their professional careers, given the ever-increasing demands of the job market. At the same time, they are given the opportunity to participate by highlighting both their research work and their abilities in presenting, in a complete manner, their scientific activity. The direct involvement of some of the students in the organization of the conference itself is also considered particularly important, which has been proven to have a positive effect on strengthening teamwork, planning of actions and the effectiveness of the participants, elements that are particularly desirable in the professional arena.
All of this will be carried out with the help, guidance and supervision of both members of the Division of Central and Western Macedonia of the AGC. and the Association of Chemists in Northern Greece, as well as members of the instructive staff of the Department of Chemistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The Conference sets the ground for the active engagement of students and the space to highlight both their research activity and their presentation skills in front of a large audience.
This is the 8th conference in a row, for the year 2025 (est. in 2017), under the title “Chemistry in the evolution of Research and Technology”, which is being organized after the large attendance of undergraduate students, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates during the previous Student Conferences.
