Tuition Fees – Scholarships

Tuition Fees

For participation in the MSc “Fetal and Maternal Medicine,” tuition fees totaling three thousand euros (3,000€) are required. Payment is made in three (3) equal installments on dates specified at the beginning of each semester.
Student enrollment in the MSc is finalized only after the payment of the first tuition fee installment.

Scholarships and exemption from tuition fees

The right to free tuition on financial or social criteria is granted to postgraduate students who fulfill, on the one hand, the academic excellence criterion during their first cycle of studies, which corresponds at a minimum to a grade equal to or higher than 7.5 out of 10 (7.5/10) in the basic degree submitted for admission to the MSc program, and on the other hand, the financial criteria defined by Greek legislation, i.e., due to low financial resources based on the national median of available equivalent income. The specific terms and conditions of the right to free tuition in the MSc program are described in the applicable legislation as well as in each relevant decision of the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs. In any case, students granted an exemption shall not exceed thirty percent (30%) of the total number of students admitted to the MSc program. If the beneficiaries exceed the above percentage, they are selected in order of ranking, starting from those with the lowest income.

The application for tuition fee exemption is submitted by the interested party to the Program’s Secretariat after the completion of the student selection process for the MSc program. The possibility of exemption from the obligation to pay tuition fees is provided exclusively for attendance in one (1) MSc program organized by a higher education institution in Greece. Successful candidates who receive a scholarship from another source are not entitled to an exemption.
