The “Esthisis” project is reaching the end of its journey. After four years of hard work and thorough research on the subject of pipeline leakages, the implementation of a wireless pipeline monitoring system was achieved. The system is able to detect and localize a leak in real time and it also makes an estimation concerning the size of the leak, thus providing an idea about the severity of the situation.
The successful completion of the project was a result of the valuable contribution of all the involved partners and their excellent collaboration throughout the project. This collaboration also allowed the dissemination of the research results of the project through a large number of publications (around 30) both in international conferences and in scientific journals.
Congratulations to the “Esthisis” consortium!
