*Mentoring session has the scope to enable interaction between younger and senior Metabolomics Scientists with different specialties from the industry, academia, or/and regulation institutes. We aim to provide insight of the perspective and the experience of work/research and career prospects in these fields.

How will it work in our workshop? Mentees and Mentors need to sign up for the session in advance (places are limited).
As mentors we ask for experienced professionals from the industry, academia, or research, government labs. Ca. 30 min of your time to act as mentors meeting 2 to 3 mentees.
Students/younger professionals who are interested need to sign up.

  • The session will take place in the lunch breaks.
  • Mentors and mentees pairs will take seats in a desgnated area facing one another.
  • Mentors will introduce themselves, their specialty (LC-MS, GC-MS NMR…), position or previous jobs
  • Mentees will also describe their position, study theme and then can ask questions of their interest.
  • After 10 minutes mentees can rotate to a  second seat and the process can start-up again.
