His clinical interests extend across the spectrum of pediatric dentistry:

  • Treatment of dental fear
  • Prevention of caries and aesthetic restoration
  • Specialized care for dental anomalies and injuries
  • Treatment of children with disabilities or special needs, either with a behavioral approach in the clinic or, if necessary, with general anesthesia in a clinical setting.

His social work includes giving talks to parents, students, and caregivers of individuals with disabilities in various regions, as well as organizing dental examinations for children in schools and institutions, including Municipal and Private Nurseries in Thessaloniki. He is married to Eleni Gordou, a graduate of the Archaeological Department of A.U.Th. and the School of Guides, and a teacher in Secondary Education. They have two adult sons, Yiannis and Vangelis, whose smiles have benefited from preventive dentistry (absence of caries) and orthodontics.
