The Postgraduate Program of Studies “Prosthodontics”

The Postgraduate Program of Studies “Prosthodontics” aims to promote knowledge, foster research, and address the educational, research, social, and developmental needs of the country. Its objectives include the training of highly qualified scientists, as well as the production and dissemination of knowledge, expertise, methodologies, tools, and research outcomes in the broader scientific field of Prosthodontics.

The P.M.S. “Prosthodontics” seeks to address:
a) the most advanced scientific demands of society for specialized dental professionals,
b) innovative applications of technology,
c) the organization of healthcare services within Prosthodontic Science, and

d) the staffing of both academic institutions and private providers of dental and dental laboratory services with specialized scientific personnel.

The graduates of the Postgraduate Programs (MSc) “Prosthodontics” and “Science and Technology of Prosthodontics” of the Laboratory of Prosthodontics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) receive direct recognition, without any further procedures, for their specialization in Prosthodontics by the European Prosthodontic Association (EPA).

The EPA promotes the advancement of knowledge, education, and practice of Prosthodontics throughout Europe.

This Europe-wide recognition provides graduates of the MSc program with broader opportunities for scientific and professional development, both in Greece and abroad
