Dynamics Days Europe (DDE) is a series of major international conferences founded in the 1980’s that provides a European forum for developments in the theory and applications of dynamics. For more than 40 years, it has been bringing together researchers from a wide range of backgrounds including physics, mathematics, biology, and engineering for interdisciplinary research in nonlinear science.
Topics of interest include: Astrophysics, Asymptotics, Bifurcation Theory, Biophysics, Chaos, Chemical dynamics, Complex systems and Networks, Computational Methods, Control systems, Crowd Dynamics and Mobility, Earthquake engineering, Econophysics, Environmental dynamics and Ecology, Epidemics, Financial systems, Fluid and Solid Mechanics, Machine and Deep Learning, Materials Science, Mathematical Physics, Multiscale Dynamics, Multi-physics, Neurodynamics, Numerical Analysis, Pattern Formation, Reduced-order Modelling, Robotic dynamics, Self-organized systems, Scientific Computing, Soft Matter, Social dynamics and networks, Statistical Physics, Stochastic Systems, Time Series Analysis, Traffic dynamics, Turbulence.
The conference includes plenary talks, minisymposia, contributed talks and posters. Minisymposia are proposed by the organizers and if accepted the organizers have the responsibility to run them (select and organize presentations). Contributed talks and posters are submitted directly to the DDE2025 organizers.
It is noted that DDE2025 is acknowledged as a Recognised Conference of the European Physical Society (EPS).
1. Travel grant from EPS
The European Physical Society (EPS) makes a limited number of travel grants available to EPS Individual Members to attend Europhysics and Recognised Conferences. Since DDE2025 is now a Recognised Conference from EPS, EPS Individual Members can apply for travel grant to participate in DDE2025. Those interested should fill and submit the Individual Member Travel Grant Application Form directly to EPS from here: https://www.eps.org/page/support_im_app_form
2. Financial Support for Young Researchers from DDE2025
There will be limited funds from DDE2025 to support young researchers (PhD candidates and Post-Doctoral researches who received their PhD within the last 2 years) especially from countries with low and lower-middle income economies. The applicant should present a contributed talk or poster.
Applications should be sent to the organizers at ddeu2025@auth.gr together with a short CV. The applications will be reviewed and decided following the deadlines of the oral contributions and posters.
3. Dynamics Days Europe Young Researcher Awards for best Poster Presentation
Prizes will be given to PhD candidates and Post-Doctoral researchers (PhD received in the last two years) who presented posters in DDE2025.
4. Dynamics Days Europe Young Researcher Awards for best Oral Presentation
Prizes will be given to PhD candidates and Post-Doctoral researchers (PhD received in the last two years) who gave contributed talks in DDE2025.
