Με μεγάλη χαρά σας προσκαλούμε στη διάλεξη του αρχιτέκτονα, ιστορικού αρχιτεκτονικής και επιμελητή στο Τμήμα Αρχιτεκτονικής και Design στο Μουσείο Μοντέρνας Τέχνης (ΜοΜΑ) στη Νέα Υόρκη Ευάγγελου Κοτσιώρη με τίτλο: «Η Διακριτική Γοητεία του Παλιού». Η διάλεξη θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τετάρτη 24 Απριλίου 2024 και ώρα 19:00 στην αίθουσα 105 του Τμήματος Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών ΑΠΘ, στο πλαίσιο του Εργαστηρίου Αρχιτεκτονικού Σχεδιασμού ΙΙ του εαρινού εξαμήνου 2023-2024 του ΠΜΣ Περιβαλλοντικός Αρχιτεκτονικός και Αστικός Σχεδιασμός.

Evangelos Kotsioris is Assistant Curator in Architecture & Design at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. At MoMA he has recently co-organized the exhibitions Body Constructs (2024), Architecture Now: New York, New Publics (2023), The Project of Independence: Architectures of Decolonization in South Asia, 1947–1985 (2022), and Reuse, Renew, Recycle: Recent Architecture from China (2021–22). Kotsioris holds a professional degree in architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MArch II from Harvard University, and a PhD in history and theory of architecture from Princeton University. Among other places, he has taught theory and design at the University of Pennsylvania, Barnard+Columbia Architecture, Princeton School of Architecture, The Cooper Union, and Harvard GSD. He is a co-editor of Radical Pedagogies, a global history of post-WWII experiments in architectural education during the second half of the twentieth century (MIT Press, 2022).
