Volunteer & Student Actions Coordination Office informs you about AUTH student groups, helps to organize their events, organizes the student festival “Student Week” and events such as “AUTh on Sunday” and “AUTh in the city” that have academic and voluntary character.

AUTh Student Associations

AUTh Student Associations

Students of all Faculties/Departments are eligible to register members of the Student Union of their School/Department, operating in accordance with the law and are recognized by the Court of First Instance. Student representatives participate in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Law to the Collective Bodies of their Faculty/Department and the University.

Student Elections are held every year in May.

Shall we go to the gym?

UNIVERSITY GYM

It is housed next to the Student Club, on 3rd September Street.

To register at the Gym you need:

– valid academic ID

– payment of the registration fee per academic year

You can exercise every day from 8:00 am. until 22:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Its facilities include football, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, sports halls for group lessons, gym and dance rooms, a fitness center, as well as outdoor strength equipment.

For the aquatics events, the gym uses the facilities of the National Swimming Pool.

The University Gym offers more than 40 activities and classes.

Also, championships and tournaments are organized every year in team and individual sports.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT CLUB

It is housed in the east of the Campus in two large halls with a capacity of 1,000 (Lower Club) and 500 people (Upper Club). It offers breakfast and 2 lunches, 7 days a week.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students are entitled to free meals, under conditions that define relevant provisions.

Through the myAuth application or on the PFL website you can see the daily/weekly menu.

"Motherland" is calling me

POSTPONEMENT OF MILITARY OBLIGATIONS

Students who have not fulfilled their military obligations are entitled to deferment of conscription to complete their studies. Postponement of classification is granted from January 1 of the year in which you turn 19 until you turn 28.

A certificate of studies for the current academic year is required, which you request at the Secretariat of your Department. The application for postponement of classification due to studies is submitted electronically on the website www.stratologia.gr with taxisnet codes. On the same website you can see which recruiting service you belong to as well as its contact numbers.
