Dr. Naya Kalfeli is an adjunct lecturer in Media Ethics and Journalism at the University of Western Macedonia. She holds a PhD in Journalism, an MA in International and European Studies, and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications. Previously, as a European Social Fund Research Fellow, she investigated the impact of media representations of migration on inter-group relations between Greeks and refugees/migrants. Currently, with funding from the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation, she is examining journalists’ perspectives on stigmatized minorities.
