Professor Celestino Deleyto
Professor of English Literature and Film at the University of Zaragoza. He belongs to the research group “Cinema, Culture and Society” and is currently working on the Project “Humpty Dumpty on the Wall: Transnationalism and the Border in Contemporary Cinema”. He is the author of The Secret Life of Romantic Comedy (Manchester University Press, 2009) and co-author, with María del Mar Azcona, of Alejandro González Iñárritu (The University of Illinois Press, 2010).
Reader Deborah Jermyn
Deborah Jermyn is a Reader in Film and Television at Roehampton University, UK. She is the author and editor of numerous books exploring women, feminism and popular culture including Female Celebrity and Ageing: Back in the Spotlight (2013), Sex and the City (2009) and Hollywood Transgressor: The Cinema of Kathryn Bigelow (2003).

Professor Diane Negra
Professor of Film Studies and Screen Culture at University College Dublin, member of the Royal Irish Academy, Diane has served as Guest Professor at Brown University, the Free University of Berlin, the University of Reims and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is the author, editor or co-editor of ten books including What a Girl Wants?: The Reclamation of Self in Postfeminism (2008), The Irish in Us: Irishness, Performativity and Popular Culture (2006)and Extreme Weather and Global Media (with Julia Leyda, 2015). Her work in media, gender and cultural studies has been widely influential and recognized with a range of research awards and fellowships. She serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Television and New Media.
Professor Emeritus Robert A. Rosenstone
Professor Rosenstone is the leading international scholar in the fast growing field devoted to studying the relationship between history and the visual media. He is the author of the seminal Visions of the Past: the Challenge of Film to Our Idea of History (Harvard, 1995), and History on Film / Film on History (Pearson, 2006, 2nd edition 2012), and has edited the influential collections Revisioning History: Film and the Construction of a New Past (Princeton, 1995). He is joining us for the spring semester of 2021, teaching one of our elective courses. It is a privilege to welcome Professor Rosenstone to our city.

Professor Thomas Elsaesser
Renowned film historian and theorist, Professor Elsaesser honoured us with a visit as a guest lecturer last November. We will forever be grateful for his generosity of spirit and the invaluable knowledge he shared with our students during our inaugural year.
Reader Stacey Abbott
Reader in Film and Television Studies at the University of Roehampton, London, Stacey’s research focuses upon gothic and horror genres in film and television, with a particular interest in the vampire and zombie. Her recent publications include Undead Apocalypse: Vampires and Zombies in the 21st Century (2016), TV Horror: Investigating the Dark Side of the Small Screen (2013), co-written with Lorna Jowett and Supernatural: TV Goes to Hell (2011), co-edited with David Lavery.
