Library
The library of the School of Film is located in the Stavroupoli building (2nd floor) and is one of the departmental libraries of the “Library and Information Center” system of AUTh. It includes a reading room with 14 seats, a photocopy machine for users’ needs with a charge per page (€0.05), a television, and a DVD player for film screenings in small groups. The collection consists of approximately 350,000 volumes of books searchable at http://search.lib.auth.gr/, over 2,000 titles of fiction films, documentaries, animations by Greek and foreign creators, available only to students of all levels and professors of the department for educational purposes. It also includes titles of relevant Greek and foreign periodicals and a small collection of music CDs. Finally, it contains an archive of undergraduate, research, and postgraduate theses of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The library operates during weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 during the academic year 2023-24.
