EMEKT Lab

The Laboratory for the Study of Greek Cinema and Television (EMEKT) was founded in 2018 in the School of Film at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. EMEKT serves the educational and research needs in the academic subjects of history and theory of Greek cinema and history and theory of Greek television.

Postgraduate students have the opportunity to submit their academic texts for peer review on the subject of Greek cinema and Greek television. EMEKT aims to host a corpus of short texts (up to 2,500 words), which will serve as the basis for future monographs, and articles in other Greek and foreign journals, workshops, and conferences.

Any student who wishes to or has prepared a text (completed or ongoing) can contact Prof. Betty Kaklamanidou via email.
