TOTAL SCORE | 100 |
The minimum grade required for acceptance is 60/100 (60%).
The selection procedure of the candidates is conducted by a Selection and Examination Committee, consisting of faculty members who have undertaken postgraduate work. The Committee previews all applications, and after rejecting those portfolios those that do not fulfil the minimum requirements, they set up interviews with those applicants who meet the prerequisites. After the interviews, the Committee grades the candidates and draws up the final list of those accepted. The list is then published online and the relevant information is sent by email to the candidates.
Important notes:
- Bachelor Degree holders can be accepted prior to officially receiving their degree as long as they submit an official certificate of completion of studies (number of ECTS) before the classes begin.
- Foreign students have to make sure that their institution is recognized by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Center (NARIC) before they apply by visiting their site and checking the list of recognized institutions. This is a paramount step in the application process as a Postgraduate Diploma cannot be awarded to a student whose bachelor degree comes from a foreign institution that is not recognized by NARIC.
- In case of two or more candidates with the same total score, the Committee takes into consideration each candidate’s degree or diploma grade and accepts the candidate with the highest grade. If this also results in identical performance, then the Committee considers the grades on the more relevant to the MA Program undergraduate courses of the candidates.
